Danny Lawhorn, a 6-foot guard from South Kent School in Connecticut, is a New York born guard who is looking forward to finishing off his prep career with a good run in the IS8 Spring League.

Lawhorn, who gave a commitment to Fordham University of the Bronx, New York, said he plans on playing for the Rise Panthers in this very highly competitive tournament.

"I plan on going to summer school at Fordham," Danny said. "I think I will be there sometime in July."

Lawhorn, who previously told us he had scholarship offers from Fairfield, Georgia Southern, Jacksonville, Michigan, UCLA, and UAB, indicated that Fordham recruiting him very early in his high school career played a part in his decision. In addition, a chance for playing time as a freshman was important too.
