Malik Thomas, a 6-foot-6, 175-pound versatile forward from Wadleigh High School in New York City, is a player that had a tremendous senior season and was rewarded for his efforts.

Thomas was chosen to play for the Jordan Brand City team in a game played this past weekend inside Madison Square Garden.

Thomas had a solid game, playing 19 minutes of the 40-minute contest. He didn't force any shots, played a team game in a very individual atmosphere. He showed us he is very capable of playing division one college basketball at Boston University next season.

Thomas scored six points, hitting three of four shots from the floor. He played solid defense, distributed the ball to the open player and played a team game.

Thomas also had two rebounds and even more impressive were his five assists, constantly searching for an open teammate in a run-and-gun all-star envirnoment.

Malik will be a quality player for Boston University. He's the type of competitor that helps his team win in many ways, making contributions on both sides of the ball.
