Two-Sport Star Accepts Offer & Will Walk On

Reporter Mike Sullivan provides a recruiting update on two-sport athlete Chandler Fraser-Pauls, who accepted a soccer scholarship today and will also play another sport as a walk on ...

Chandler Fraser-Pauls, a two-sport student/athlete from the Pennington School in New Jersey, accepted a soccer scholarship from Lafayette, according to family members.

His dad, Matt, also told us that Chandler will walk on and play for the Lafayette men's basketball team.

We previously reported Fraser-Pauls already had a scholarship offer from Boston University in the sport of soccer.

Fraser-Pauls, who helped his team win another Mercer County Championship, sparked his team to a 23-2 record in basketball this past season.

Fraser-Pauls, who averaged 16 points a game and five assists per contest his season as a junior, is a member of the 2011 class.

Chandler worked very hard on his mid-range perimeter game and landed many honors over the past month from the top newspapers in the New Jersey area.

In addition, he sharpened his floor general skills over the past season.

Chandler, who plays for his father on the Team NJABC AAU program, is a lefty that is looking to work on his weak hand over the next several months.

Fraser-Pauls, who competes at the midfield and forward positions for the soccer team, is interested in the field of coaching once he finishes up college.
