New York Guard Reverses College Decision

Danny Lawhorn, a 6-foot guard from South Kent School in Connecticut, said he's decommitted to Fordham University after speaking to the new coaches.

Lawhorn, who had committed to the Rams before new head coach Tom Pecora (former Hofstra head coach) had taken the job, said he is now wide open in his recruiting process.

Lawhorn, who is finishing off his prep career by playing in the IS8 Spring League, indicated he's willing to look at any school interested in backcourt help for their basketball program.

DANNY LAWHORN'S SEASON AT SOUTH KENT:

Lawhorn had a terrific season for his team this season. He averaged 15 points and close to 12 assists a game.

EVALUATION OF DANNY LAWHORN'S INDIVIDUAL GAME:

*Lawhorn is a tough guard, willing to take the ball to the rim against the bigger bodies. He competes hard on both ends of the court.
