FORMER HIGH SCHOOL: Wings Academy in Bronx, New York

CURRENT HIGH SCHOOL: South Kent in Connecticut

POSITIONS: Shooting Guard

SEASON/HOW IT WENT: Mike produced 23 points for his team in a victory over the New York Panthers in the IS8 Spring League.

*Buffalo averaged nearly 11 points a game, five rebounds and three assists this season for South Kent.

CURRENT AAU TEAM: Raising Champions


COLLEGE INTEREST: Mike told us he plans on taking a campus visit tomorrow. "I'm going to visit St. Francis of New York," said Buffalo of the Brooklyn based school. "I'm excited about taking the trip."

However, Buffalo has not ruled out taking another prep season. "I'm considering everything," he said.

Previously, Mike stated: "St. Francis of Pennsylvania is now showing interest. They told me they plan on coming to watch me play soon."


Fairleigh Dickinson University was showing Buffalo a lot of interest. The staff was talking with AAU coach Hasani Stewart.

We previously reported that Buffalo had interest from Elon, Arkansas Little Rock, Florida Atlantic, Gardner-Webb, Buffalo, Manhattan, Detroit, St. Peter's, and Long Island University.

GRADE SITUATION: Mike told us he has achieved a qualifying score on the SAT.

STRENGTHS: Is a strong guard, tough mentally, physically able to challenge the bigger bodies near the rim with his drives to the basket.
