2011 Backcourt Prospect Hopes For Big Summer

Danny Lawhorn, a 6-foot guard from South Kent School in Connecticut, said he is gearing up for a big summer evaluation month in July.

"I'm getting myself ready to have a great summer," he said.

Lawhorn had previously given a verbal commitment to Fordham University. Then the coaching staff was changed.

So Danny will compete this season at Roberson Prep School in New Jersey.

Lawhorn, who is currently playing in the IS8 Spring League, said his recruiting process is now wide open.

DANNY LAWHORN'S SEASON AT SOUTH KENT:

Lawhorn had a terrific season for his team this season. He averaged 15 points and close to 12 assists a game.

EVALUATION OF DANNY LAWHORN'S INDIVIDUAL GAME:

*Lawhorn is a tough guard, willing to take the ball to the rim against the bigger bodies. He competes hard on both ends of the court.
