A LOOK BACK AT CHAZ MORRISH'S BASKETBALL SEASON FOR ST. MARY'S:

Morrish produced 15 points in a tough loss to St. John The Baptist of West Islip, New York, in a Catholic League conference game.

**Honored a few weeks ago, Chaz was one of 30 nominations from the state of New York for the McDonald's All American game. Morrish averaged nearly 14 points a game as a senior.

ONE OF HIS BEST GAMES DURING THE 2009-2010 SEASON:

Morrish had one of his best games of the season when he helped St. Mary's defeat Chaminade, 70-62, ripping off 24 points in the victory.

AAU TEAM: Positive Direction

GRADES: Chaz is a top notch student. He has scored an impressive 1440 on the SAT. He is near a 3.3 grade point average in a very tough academic school.

PREVIOUS HONORS ON THE HARDWOOD: MVP in the Long Island Challenge

*Was outstanding at the Hofstra University team held in Hempstead, New York (Long Island) camp. He helped spark St. Mary's capture the top prize averaging 10 points and four assists per contest.

DESCRIPTION OF HIS INDIVIDUAL GAME:

Chaz is a terrific competitor, a backcourt player can energize his team on both sides of the ball.

Morrish spent his season focusing on improving his consistency from the perimeter and taking the ball to the rim.

COLLEGE DECISION:

Chaz Morrish has signed a letter of intent to play for Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, N.Y.. Morrish had been leaning to the school for the past month. Sources tell us the letter should be delivered over the next couple of days.
