Senior Prospect Ready To Make D-1 Impact

Reporter Mike Sullivan provides a look at the individual game of senior guard prospect Kam Ritter, who also had a great career playing for Jim Hart's Albany City Rocks AAU basketball program ...

Albany City Rocks AAU program director and head boy's basketball coach Jim Hart had told us previously he felt that Kameron Ritter was going to be a fine division one player.

Ritter, a 6-foot-3 backcourt player from Christian Brothers Academy in Albany, N.Y., will get that chance this fall playing for St. Francis of Pennsylvania.

"He always did a nice job leading our offense, taking care of the basketball, and making good basketball decisions," said Hart.

MORE THOUGHTS FROM ALBANY CITY ROCKS AAU PROGRAM DIRECTOR/HEAD COACH JIM HART ON KAM RITTER'S GAME:

He is a very smooth player. But he does a great job in making decisions with the basketball and rotating the ball from one side of the court to the other. Steady and consistent are the two words I think of when describing his game.

PREVIOUS EVALUTION OF KAM RITTER'S INDIVIDUAL GAME:

Kam is a team player who won't force the issue or make silly mistakes. He can fit into any type of offense and be productive.

Ritter takes care of the basketball and has a good feel for the game. He understands the value of every individual possession.

Ritter is also tough on the defensive end. He plays his defender hard and has a big windspan, utilizing his long arms to deflect passes and make on the ball steals against his opponent.
