PREVIOUS EVALUATION:

WHAT TEAM NJABC HEAD COACH MATT PAULS SAID PREVIOUSLY ABOUT WAYNE NEWSOM'S INDIVIDUAL GAME:

He competes strong near the basket and is very active in retrieving loose balls on both ends of the court. He works very hard too on both sides of the possession.

Wayne improved over the past season in many areas -- such as ballhandling and his short perimeter jumping. He does a terrific job in practice and in open workouts, always working hard on the fundamentals.

PREVIOUS RECRUITING HISTORY:

Newsom will compete for division two school, Caldwell College. This is a great fit for Wayne, who should have a very productive four-year career.

"He signed with Caldwell and got an athletic scholarship," said a proud AAU head coach, Matt Pauls of Team NJABC. "He's going to have a great career there."
