Danny Lawhorn, a 6-foot guard from South Kent School in Connecticut, is hoping to have a big July evaluation month to help land more division one scholarship offers.

Next month is huge for Lawhorn and other rising senior prospects who are trying to convince college coaches of their skill level.

Danny had previously given a verbal commitment to the Rams of Fordham in the Bronx, New York. However, when former Hofstra head coach Tom Pecora became the new head coach at Fordham, it was determined that Lawhorn go to a prep school in 2010-2011.

*Lawhorn told us he was going to play at Roberson Prep School in New Jersey for the 2010-2011 high school season.

DANNY LAWHORN'S SEASON AT SOUTH KENT:

Lawhorn had a terrific season for his team this season. He averaged a double/double in points and assists this past year.

EVALUATION OF DANNY LAWHORN'S INDIVIDUAL GAME:

*Lawhorn is a tough guard, willing to take the ball to the rim against the bigger bodies. He competes hard on both ends of the court.
