Big Summer Ahead For New Jersey Prospect

Reporter Mike Sullivan updates a player who competes in two sports in the Garden State of New Jersey ...

Bruce Brittingham, a 6-foot, 165-pound combo guard from The Perkiomen School in New Jersey, is a player to watch this summer, according to Team NJABC head coach Matt Pauls.

Bruce, who competes in two sports -- football and basketball -- has been a player Matt Pauls has liked a lot.

Pauls said Brittingham is a hard worker who improves each practice and game. "He has the heart of a lion," said Pauls in a previous interview.

Bruce competes much bigger than his size. He's on the glass a lot, battling for loose balls against the bigger bodies in the paint and scoring near the lip of the rim.

With two more full seasons left to play high school basketball, Bruce has opened the athletic options too, being a good football player.
