New Jersey Big Man Worth Watching This July

Reporter Mike Sullivan provides a look at the individual game of a New Jersey big man prospect who will be competing at several major AAU tournaments this month ...

Luke Piotrowski, a 6-foot-9, 175-pound forward from Atlantic Christian School in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey, is a big man prospect worth watching during the month of July.

Luke, considered a key member of the Team NJABC AAU boy's basketball program, will likely be seen by several division one programs as they evaluate their needs for the year 2011-12.

PREVIOUSLY REPORTED:

Luke has improved quite significantly over the past year and is generating some solid division one interest in his skill level. He recently disclosed he was very happy with his most recent campus trip, a visit to Boston University.

"It was great," Piotrowski said. "...BU really impressed me though. Their facilities were very nice and I liked the campus a lot.

"I also like coach Chambers and his philosophy on things. He knows what he's doing and is trying to build a great program there. I don't have any other unofficials planned now but I will take some officials in September for sure."

Luke has several other division one schools interested too. Check out his profile above.

The Maryland website here on Scout.com has also produced an article too about Luke's recruiting process.

We plan on covering Luke at several AAU events and will report on his progress.
