East Coast Prospect Has Solid Summer

Reporter Mike Sullivan provides a look at the individual game of Eric Fanning, a forward prospect who has spent much of his high school career competing in the New Jersey/Pennsylvania area ...

Eric Fanning, a 6-foot-5, 200-pound hard-working power forward/small forward prospect from The Perkiomen School in Pennsburg, Pennsylvania, had a very solid summer, working hard to attract more division one college basketball interest in his skill level.

As we previously reported, Fanning moved to the class of 2012 to give himself more time to polish certain skills that would be attractive to college basketball head coaches and assistants. So this will give Eric an opportunity to generate even more interest in the future.

Fanning also played for for Team NJABC boy's basketball AAU program this summer, a team over the past few years has won some major events and been competitive in most tournaments.

RECRUITING INTEREST:

The Citadel, St. Francis of Pennyslvania, St. Peter's, Army, Navy, and Quinnipiac.

WHAT MATT PAULS PREVIOUSLY SAID ABOUT ERIC FANNING AND HIS INDIVIDUAL GAME:

"He practices hard all the time, always looking to make improvements in his game."

PREVIOUS EVALUATION OF ERIC FANNING'S INDIVIDUAL GAME:

Eric is a solid student too, opening up some academic options if he wishes to explore them over the next couple of years.

Eric competes very hard on both ends of the court, working hard on every possession, treating each situation wisely.
