"The visit was great," said Mr. Harris. "We met with all the coaches including Coach (Steve) Lavin, who by the way is great guy and big Fortyniner fan.
"We covered lots of topic about St. John's University. I truly believe he's going to turn the school basketball program into major a powerhouse. He has a great coaching staff.
Mr. Harris was impressed by the recruiting done by the St. John's assistants as well as Lavin during the contact period.
"His staff followed Tyler the whole summer doing the evaluation period so they know his strengths and weaknesses," said Mr. Harris.
"They like the fact that he's very skillful player that can move and shoot the ball and long. They believe as I do that Tyler is still growing that he could be 6-foot-11.
"Tyler was very impressed with all the coaches. He thought coach Lavin was real cool. We toured the school, ate some lunch in the new student center. It was a great unofficial visit." PREVIOUSLY REPORTED:

In addition, Harris took a visit to Rutgers and new head coach Mike Rice.

"Tyler felt Coach Rice has a vision and a realistic plan in place to help lift Rutgers to be one of the top teams in the Big East. Tyler feel the coach has lot of energy and passion to make players to want to play for him. "He had put together a great coaching staff with Van Macon," concluded Mr. Harris.
