Long Island Prospect Shaves List To Seven

Reporter Mike Sullivan provides a recruiting update on Long Island rising senior prospect Tyler Harris, who has cut his list of schools down to seven ...

Tyler Harris, a 6-foot-8 guard from Long Island, New York, who has transferred from Half Hollow Hills West High School in Dix Hills, New York to St. Benedict in Newark, New Jersey, has shaved his list to seven schools.

According to Tyler's dad, Torrel, Harris now has a list of (in no particular order), "St. John's, North Carolina State, Wake Forest, Providence, Iowa, South Florida, And Connecticut."

"After his home visits, he'll narrow it down more," Mr. Harris said.

Washington, Duquesne, Rutgers, and Rhode Island did not make the final cut.

Tyler took a recent visit to Providence College and seemed very satisfied with the campus trip. His visit to Connecticut was postponed due to some car trouble.
