Last Friday the Scout.com No.4 rated player in the state of North Carolina got a visit from a couple of Florida State coaches. From the sounds of things they were quite impressed with the four-star tight end/defenensive end.
"Coach Lilly hung out at the school all day and the defensive end coach Jody Allen came to my game," Everette Brown
of Wilson (NC) Beddingfield said. "Coach Allen watched senior film on me and told my head coach that I was very explosive. He also was very excited about my change of direction, first step off the ball and the way I chase down ball carriers from behind. They told me I could play on either side of the ball."
Did the attention from the Garnet & Gold make an impression on him?
"It definitely helps their chances a lot," he said. "They want two sign two defensive ends and two tight ends."
Last Saturday Brown made an unofficial visit to North Carolina State for the Miami game.
"It was a very good atmosphere," he said. "The crowd was big and loud."
Last Friday Brown helped secure a win for his team by recording eight tackles with two going for a loss.
