NC Recruits Visit Va Tech

Seven of North Carolina's top football prospects were among the 75 recruits that made the trip to Blacksburg Saturday to attend Virginia Tech's biggest junior day of the year.

The prospects took part in a photo shoot, listened to a talk from head coach Frank Beamer, and watched Saturday's 2:00 intra-squad scrimmage.

TB Remene Alston of Greensboro Page, LB/FB Matthew Woodlief of Catawba Bandys, LB Lionel Shoffner Greensboro Grimsley, WR/DB Raeshon McNeil of Mocksville Davie, TB Michael Angram of East Henderson, LB Terry Adams of Elkin, and DE Devven Sutton of Elizabeth City Northeastern all made the trip north to take in the events and explore the campus.

Of the North Carolina visitors, none own a Virginia Tech scholarship offer. However, McNeil claims tenders from Virginia and Duke, while Terry Adams possess a N.C. State offer.
