The "Tony Poll," a national high school poll ranking, released its week 9 rankings with Charlotte Independence leap frogging to fourth nationally and third in the southeast region.
Despite both teams winning, Independence leaped Batesville (Miss.) South Panola and Lufkin (Texas). Indy received three first place votes.
The Patriots have the nation's longest active winning streak, which is up to 100 games. Friday, Indy crushed East Mecklenburg 54-22.
Greenville Rose and Richmond County are also both ranked regionally at 11th and 15th, respectively.
