Carolina Panthers Community Captains Program

With hundred's of nomination forms from high school football programs submitted to date, high school football student-athletes from across the Carolina's await anxiously the first of ten Community Captains to be selected by the Carolina Panthers.

The program has captured the attention of principals, athletic directors, and football coaching staffs from all over the Carolina's. Their purpose is simple, to acknowledge young men who display leadership and play an active role in their respective communities while exemplifying the sheer meaning of what a student-athlete should be. The Carolina Panthers Community Captain program acknowledges the difference makers who excel in the classroom, on the playing field, but most importantly in their community.

During the 2009 high school football season, the Panthers will select ten elite student-athletes. Winners will receive an authentic Community Captain jersey and will have opportunities to participate in select team community events with current Panthers players in addition to being honored during an on-field ceremony at the Panthers home game versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on December 6th.

All high school football student-athletes in North and South Carolina are eligible for the prestigious Community Captain Award. If you would like to nominate your football student-athlete click here for a Community Captain nomination form.
