One player that we have felt was going big-time has seen that we know what were talking about. Chauncey Incarnato has the look of a top college prospect. The problem was Dover High School hasn't produced top recruits over the last few years and many in the recruiting circles didn't know who he was.
That all changed as college coaches started to receive game tape of this great looking offensive/defensive linemen. Who has taken notice the most? Well the list is growing every day. The last time we spoke with Chauncey or his father Maryland had made an early offer. In talking with Mr. Incarnato today we have seen that list grow and with many more coming.
As of today Chauncey has received written offers from Maryland, Syracuse, Vanderbilt, Ohio U., Louisville, Cincinnati, Akron, Miami (Ohio), West Virginia & Pittsburgh with many more telling him they are going to offer.
Chauncey is now having to weigh his options as to were he and his family will visit. Mr. Incarnato told OhioPrepScene. " Were going to try and see as many schools as we can. Schools have told us they don't care if Chauncey camps or not they just want him to visit and get to know the coaches and see the campus."
During our conversation he informed us that Chauncey is looking at taking a visits to Michigan, Pittsburgh, Maryland and West Virginia for sure. We also have interest in other schools but its to early to make any comments about what may or may not happen.
Mr. Incarnato also said that Chauncey had done some max out work and benched 405 and Squated 520. What we have to remember in Chauncey is that he is only 17 and will play next season at 17. He also ran a 4.9 40 and is now 6'7 278 lbs.
Look for many more schools to make a run at this top linemen from the Buckeye State. The question many people have been asking is when will Ohio State make an offer. Your guess is as good as ours. They may miss out on this top linemen if they wait much longer.
Stay tuned to OhioPrepScene for more on Chauncey and other top players from Ohio.
