Most young men have dreams. One Ohio football players is to were the red and white of the Huskers. Will his dream come true? Only he and the coaches of Nebraska will know.

Prospects that camp at top programs often come away with instruction on what they must do for an offer. One of the many players we have profiled on OhioPrepScene this past year is Pete Rodeno. Pete just finished spending some time in Huskerville, USA. The one school he's dreamed about for many years.

As we told you in the past Pete Rodeno has some family ties in College Football and at the University of Nebraska. Because of those family ties the Huskers have been a school in the heart and soul of this young man. While Pete works his way towards playing college football his goal is to wear the red & white of the Huskers.

Pete's father Dan Rodeno told OhioPrepScene about the trip and what the coaches told Pete about what they were looking for in a recruit. "Coach Solich told Pete to continue putting forth a lot of hard work. They like his size but, would like to see him lose about 15 pounds. He will be invited out for a game this fall and they want to see his first 2-3 games immediately this coming season. The told him in the film they have watched of him, he dominates but takes some plays off. They want to see him go full go on every play this season. Coach Solich also to Pete they feel he is a high prospect.

At camp Pete had a 4.9 20 yard shuttle time. OhioPrepScene would like to thank Dan Rodeno for the information about the trip. Stay with OhioPrepScene and see if Pete's dream comes true.
