Keeping updated is always helpful when a parent helps. OhioPrepScene would like to thank Mike Freshwater for helping us. Many of you may remember Zach from basketball season as the Knights played towards a championship only to come up short in the finals to LeBron and St. Vincent-St.Mary.

With most camps over for the summer, we try and catch up with some of the players we have profiled over the last six months. One such player is Zach Freshwater from Kettering Alter. Zach's father updates us on how this summer has gone for his son.

Zach has been to Ohio University, Akron, Cincinnati, Western Kentucky and Eastern Kentucky all by invitation. He also was at Ohio State and has been invited to Indiana on the 26th of this month.

Zach has gotten letters from many DI schools along with DII and DIII. We've sent information to all of them, probably 40 schools and tapes to about 25, mostly the bigger schools. Overall Zach has felt good about his camps but wants to get his 40 time lower than 4.7. He's had great pro agility times with a best of 4.1 at the Akron camp and also Western Kentucky. He's been working hard the last two months training at Pro Fitness and that's really helping him.

Zach knows that many schools are going to look at his early games this season. He may play both ways this year and hopefully the team will pass the ball more this year.

Zach is going to be a caption for the football team and also the basketball team and has been doing both this summer. He will play football in college its just a question of at what level.

Keep an eye on Zach and many other players from Ohio only at OhioPrepScene.
