Simply one of America's finest. Pooh plays at another level with the grace and confidence of a veteran. At the beginning of AAU there was some question about who was the best player in the state in this class, but now there is NO doubt! Congratulations on a National Championship.
Aaron Pogue (Spiece Indy Heat) 6'8 F
The big fella has slimmed down and got his game on track. Always known for his potential, at the Nationals his potential was realized. Pogue put on a show. Only a rising freshmen, he put stake on the claim for being the best big man in the state of Ohio.
Adrian Graves (Queen City Prophets) 6'4 G
Graves is silky smooth and often gets left out of the who's the best conversation by writers, but not by players. All the other players love Graves' game, and I do too. He led the Prophets to third place in the Classic and an automatic bid for next year.
Bradon Russ (Queen City Prophets) 6'6 F
Russ got plagued by foul trouble but was still effective in crucial moments. The versatile post player blocks shots, scores, and hits jump shots.
Eddie Gray (Queen City Prophets) 5'8 PG
The engine of the Prophet program. Eddie is the best point guard in the class and once he gets everything under control it will be OVER!
David Lighty (Park Ohio Titans) 6'5 G
I'd been looking for Mr. Lighty and found all 35 points of him in the first game of pool play. Lighty is a physical specimen and super skilled.
Dallas Lauderdale (Park Ohio Titans) 6'9 C
Another rising freshman. This kid has the goods and I look for very big things out of him. Dallas plays with great composure. He has soft hands and great feet. He deserved the ball more!!
David Gideon (Cincinnati Cowboys) 6'3 G
Smooth guard that shoots it with the best of them. Provides that sneak up game for the Cowboys and will do the same for St. X.
Heath White (Cincinnati Cowboys) 6'3 G
Mr. White let it be known that he is one of the best rising sophomores in the state. After sitting out a year, White didn't miss a beat in his game.
James Dews (All-Ohio Red) 6'3 G
Dews is one of my favorites. Can shoot the ball with range and off the drib. Working on creating space and tenacity he is a star!
Julian Young (All-Ohio Red) 6'6 F
The big one came into his own at Nationals. As Jerry Watson once told him "you'll be a star if you just want to be!"
Jaquan Jones (All-Ohio Red) 6'5 G
The skinny versatile guard is super smooth. Needs to work on aggressiveness.
Marcus Johnson (NEO Shooting Stars) 6'5 G
Wow, I love this kid. At Nationals he put on show after show. The one on one match up with Heath White was a toss up with both players playing at a high high level.
Ricky Jackson (NEO Shooting Stars) 6'6 F
Body beautiful has game. Shot looks crazy but goes in. Super strong
