Kempt Decommits From Bearcats

Recent coaching changes are impacting recruiting decisions across the country, with several top prospects reopening their recruitments. Massillon quarterback Kyle Kempt announced Monday evening that he has decommitted from Cincinnati.

Massillon quarterback Kyle Kempt recently completed an impressive senior season, one where the three-year starter threw for over 3,000 yards with 32 touchdown passes.

Kempt (6-foot-5, 200-pounds) committed to Cincinnati last summer, but with former Bearcat head coach Butch Jones leaving for Tennessee, the three-star quarterback has decided to reopen his recruitment.

"I have decommitted from Cincinnati," Kempt stated Monday evening. "I spoke with Coach (Tommy) Tuberville, and informed him of my decision. I am going to look at all my options going forward, and there has been contact with other schools."

FoxSportsNext will continue to monitor Kempt's recruitment, and will update any future visits.
