Cincinnati Football to start off with BANG!!!!!

The mouths were going Tuesday night at BW'3's in Forest Park as some of the Princeton Viking football players and some of the Winton Woods football players jawed back and forth about who had the best team.

Since they don't play each other, I guess we'll never know but both teams will be on the scene this weekend at the Skyline Chili Crosstown Showdown. Ohio's first official high school football games goes down about 3 hours after the first day of school, as Princeton faces Cincinnati Roger Bacon.

The night is concluded by the beginning of the 2002 State Champion Elder Panthers title defense as Elder takes on Winton Woods. Heralded as the nation's biggest high school football event, the Showdown continues on Saturday with five games starting with Hamilton/LaSalle at 10am, followed by Harrison/Lebanon, Colerain/Boone County, Anderson/Moeller, concluding with Covington Catholic/St. Xavier at 8pm!

All games are played at the University of Cincinnati's Nippert Stadium. Advance tickets are available at all participating schools or online at DSASPORTS ONLINE. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for students, and $12 dollars at the gate for everybody. With this and other prep style events DSA is establishing itself as the leader in high school prep sports events. We'll let you know who shined as the games get played. Here are the players from each school with the preseason hype. I hope they live up to the stuff. Stay tuned.
