Top line prospect makes the call and give verbal to a team that really wanted him.

Many showed interest in Branden Armstrong during the recruiting process. The only questions was could he put the weight on. Branden who is tall and lanky will need to work on his weight, the other parts of his game look very good.

Showing advance pass blocking skills made Branden a top prospect. Along with his great feet no one is surprised by the interest showed to him. Why was Branden advanced in this area? Because the offense that Northmont runs is a pass first , run second offense. This skill along with Branden's size made Miami of Ohio take notice and give Branden an early offer.

Now after 4 games in the 2003 season Branden has made the call and ended his recruiting. The RedHawks will get Branden's services next fall and start the process of building him into a bigger linemen in the next couple of years.

OhioPrepScene congratulates Branden and wishes him the best for the rest of the 2003 season and at the next level.
