Cincinnati Native NJCAA player of the week

The NJCAA named its players of the week and a past Ohio native was named to the offensive side.

Banks led the Falcons to a 40-29 victory over the Bucknell Junior Varsity team. He totaled 180 yards on four receptions, setting a school record for receiving yards in a game. He averaged 45 yards per catch and his longest catch was 64 yards. 

Steve Banks, Jason Jackson and Johnny Henderson provided the offensive fireworks while leading Lackawanna College's football team to a come-from-behind 40-29 win over the Bucknell University jayvees at Lewisburg, PA.


Banks, a sophomore wide receiver, caught four passes for 180 yards and one touchdown.  His reception yardage broke the old record of 156 yards for a single game.  One of his catches covered 64 yards and resulted in a TD, his third this season.
