The Firebird's defense came to play, as they have all season, holding St Francis' high scoring
offense (38 ppg) to one touchdown. The Firebird

The Firebirds offense struggled again last Friday scoring only
seven 7 points and leaving the defense on the field most of the game.
Since the first game of the season the offense have averaged only 9 ppg,
and often seems without direction on the field. More disappointing
than the low point production is the apparent lack of effort and emotion the
"skilled players" on offense bring to the games. This team has too
much talent to be 2-3 and unless the coaches make drastic moves on offense and
get more effort out of the "leaders", the playoffs won't be possible again until
