Getting back on track is the goal of one Ohio prospect. Pete Rodeno came into the season looking to make an impression upon college coaches. Having a great summer and working to put all the tools together had Pete ready to go. Just as the season was to get underway in August the worst thing that can happen to a prospect happened.
Pete Rodeno got injured. Getting to the end of another workout, Pete was doing some plyometrics work when he slipped off the side of a jumping box and injured his ankle. Seeing his season stop before it even began, made Pete more determined to get back on the field and help his team during his senior year.
Having his right ankle in a cast for three weeks and then seeing two weeks of rehab didn't stop this O-line prospect from his goal. Working to get into football shape Pete is back and putting together some film for college coaches to look at.
What makes Pete a great prospect is the fact he's a great athlete, not just a big linemen. He's able to do things most his size are not able to. He shows great feet and is getting great coaching from an ex college coach.
