OPS Founder Dave Berk spoke about this addition.

"Today is a big day towards the goals our staff has set to obtain. We want to be more than just a football / basketball website. Soccer coverage on OPS started this fall and grew as the season went along. Soccer Director Ervin Mitchell stressed the importance of what Ohio Soccer Stats brings to OPS. This partnership provides the next step in soccer coverage we have been looking for since OPS went live in December of 2002. While the soccer season is over for 2003, the work is just beginning for Ohio Soccer Stats and OPS."

"Based in Northeast Ohio, Ohio Soccer Stats gives OPS coverage of prep soccer from one side of the state to the other. This partnership is more that just the swapping of links. Both parties are working together on projects like the soon to be released Ohio Prep Scene Magazine along with other projects like internet broadcast of sporting events from around the state. In my talks with key staff members of Ohio Soccer Stats I have found they have the same goals as I have set for There goal is to help promote Ohio's prep soccer and its athletes world-wide. as always feels our job is to expose Ohio Prep Sports and Its youth world-wide."

"Our goal in this partnership is to build the largest story based web site covering Ohio prep sports. This is truly a big day for and Both sites will remain separate of each other because of the layout needs to provide its information. We welcome our new partner and can't wait to share the best soccer coverage in Ohio."

About was started this past season to give recognition to Ohio High School Soccer players. As most people know, Ohio is dominated by football at the prep level when it comes to newspaper or other media coverage. So as a way for soccer to get equal billing was created. In its first year gave recognition to over 350 Ohio High School soccer programs and over 2000 Ohio prep soccer players.

Help is still needed to provide soccer stats to the site. While 350 schools are now providing information, more schools are needed to make the project reach its ultimate goal. If you're a high school soccer coach and are not providing your teams information please click on the link to reach us.
