Winton Woods' Rob Hite Big East PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Former Winton Woods standout picked up some big honors last on for more.

Former Winton Woods High School and Queen City Prophet superstar Robert "Flight" Hite Jr. has earned Big East Player of the Week honors for the Miami Hurricanes after shooting 73.9 percent from the floor and averaging 22.5 points and 6.0 rebounds in two games.

He recorded a career-high 26 points in 26 minutes in a 76-51 victory over Florida Atlantic and grabbed seven rebounds. In an 81-62 win over North Carolina A&T; he scored a game-high 19 points. Flight was 4-for-8 from 3-point range and is averaging 15.5 points per game, second on the team to senior Darius Rice.
