During the past season, one of the most underrated offensive linemen in Ohio had to be Eric Wood of Cincinnati Elder. Having seen Wood play in person and on tape, I found a very well balanced linemen that will only get better. He is suited for a spread type offense, and shows great feet and hands.
This past weekend, Eric became a verbal commitment for Louisville. The 6'5, 265 lb. lineman was getting interest from several MAC schools, and looking for a program that best suited him. One thing that Eric has going for him is he knows how to win. Elder, who has won back-to-back Division I titles, didn't lose too many games during his playing days, and I'm sure he would like to see this trend continue as Louisville finishes up Conference USA play and enters the Big East.
OPS wishes Eric the best at the next level.
OPS will work on getting more information on Eric's verbal to U of L.
