PLAYER UPDATE - JOSH BLOOMFIELD

OPS looks at the path linebacker Josh Bloomfield will take in search of a offer.

One player that will have a busy month from the end of May through the end of June is linebacker Josh Bloomfield from Liam Shawnee High School. Having heard from many schools in the early stages of recruiting has Josh looking to camp at several different schools.

Starting with the Insiders/MSL Combine at the University of Cincinnati, Josh will also head to the following schools.

TOLEDO

BOWLING GREEN

INDIANA

SOUTH CAROLINA

WEST VIRGINIA

KENTUCKY

Other schools that have shown interest in the 6'3" 228 lb backer are Miami of Ohio, Iowa, Michigan, Ohio State, Northwestern, Colorado and Duke. Josh has posted some great numbers since taking the field as a freshman. With 335 total tackles, 32 for loss and 5 sacks some school is going to pick up a very good linebacker.

Josh is currently working out to prepare for this busy schedule and to increase his speed with a private trainer. Josh has the ability to play linebacker or may grow into a defensive linemen at the next level. With a posted time of 4.7 Josh knows getting his 40 time down will open even more doors. Josh reports that his efforts are paying off and he should be posting top 40 times by the time camps open.

OPS will have more on Josh and many of the top players from around Ohio.
