With camps in full swing, many prospects are making the rounds and showing their wears to college coaches. One such player talks about his plans and what schools he will visit during the next couple of weeks.

Another of Ohio's top linebacker prospects is making the camp rounds and seeing interest rise. Josh Bloomfield saw several teams contact him in May. Kentucky, Louisville, Bowling Green, Toledo and Eastern Kentucky all showed interest in the Lima linebacker.

With size and the ability to make tackles at a high rate, Bloomfield started the camp route by heading to Toledo and Bowling Green. While at Bowling Green Josh felt his camp went very well. The coaches spoke to Josh about recruiting and what they were looking for. While they didn't offer, they expressed a great interest in knowing what direction he may be headed.

During his trip to Toledo Josh felt he didn't have as great of a performance, but said the coaches did take the time to speak to him about the school and what they were looking for in prospects.

During May, Kentucky called and stressed they would like to see Josh in camp. He will be in Lexington on the 26th while also making stops at Louisville and Eastern Kentucky in the process. Another school that expressed interest was West Virginia. In talking with Josh's father he expressed they are really trying to put West Virginia in the plans for a visit and camp for one day.

We will keep you updated with Josh's recruiting and if any offers head his way in the next few weeks. I would like to thank Josh and his father for keeping OPS in the loop during his recruiting.
