First One a Big One...

Tramaine Thompson continues to step his game up every time we see him, and it was only a matter of time before a division one college came calling with a scholarship.

Tramaine Thompson, a 5-foot-9, 165-pound wide receiver from Jenks High in Okla., got some good news this afternoon when he found out that Oregon State was stepping up to the plate with a scholarship offer.

The Beavers initially got a look at Thompson when they were through the school scouting around a month ago, and that is when the interest was sparked.

"It is big news," Thompson informed about his feelings concerning the Oregon State offer. "I am excited. It is my first offer and it is from a BCS school."

Oregon State is not the only school that is showing interest in Thompson at this point in time.

"The other two schools that are recruiting me are mainly Arkansas and Tulsa," Thompson said. "I am pretty excited about Oregon State, but I am open right now."
