PA Pre-Season All-State High School Football Team: Defensive Linemen

Scout Penn Preps Pennsylvania Pre-Season All-State Football Team: DEFENSIVE LINEMEN

Scout Penn Preps will be releasing its 1st Annual Pre-Season Pennsylvania All-State Football Team on August 14th.  In the meantime, we’ll talk about the players that made the teams and where they were placed (first or second team).  Today, we'll talk about the defensive linemen that were selected.

Antoine Cook has several FCS offers and is still looking for his first FBS offer.

Brandon Hickerson-Rooks currently does not have any offers, but that doesn't affect his status as one of the best defensive ends in Pennsylvania. Hickerson-Rooks collected ten sacks to go with his 73 total tackles (40 solo) during the 2015 season.

Harper has over fifteen offers that include: Colorado State, Iowat State, Maryland, Boston College, Temple, Toledo and West Virginia.

Damion Barber committed to Penn State back on February 27th of this year.

Dominick Covatto ended up with 49 tackles (9 solo) and 2.5 sacks after the 2015 season was completed.

Covatto currently has four FBS offers from Navy, Toledo, Air Force, and Army.

Donovan Jeter recently narrowed down his list to Penn State, Pitt, Ohio State, Alabama, and Tennessee.

Kurt Hinish collected 32 tackles during the 2015 season. Hinish verbally committed to Notre Dame back on March 26th of this year.

Micah Parsons committed to Penn State back in February of this year.  Parsons, who is already one of the top players in the nation, has seen his recruiting profile grow by leaps and bounds since his commitment to Penn State.  With schools like Alabama and USC showing even more interest as of late, Parsons commitment to Penn State will continue to be tested.
