BEST PUBLIC LEAGUE GAME OF THE WEEK: Imhotep Charter vs. Ben Franklin

Imhotep Charter may not have the huge offensive line that they possessed last year, but the Panthers have returning quarterback Nas Boykins and an arsenal of weapons. The task for Ben Franklin will be to play disciplined football for four quarters because Imhotep will attack, attack………and then attack some more on the ground and in the air.  Offensively, Ben Franklin has veteran QB Devin Darden and speedy running back Nyeem Jones leading the Electrons on offense.  Ben Franklin will face a fast and disciplined Imhotep defense that will look to put pressure on Darden every time he goes back to pass the ball.  The Electrons will have to make sure their center-to-quarterback snaps are on point this week in order to avoid turnovers.

BEST NON-PUBLIC LEAGUE VS. PUBLIC LEAGUE GAME OF THE WEEK: Haverford School vs. Delaware Valley Charter

DVC and Haverford School will play in the Labor Day Bowl at the Germantown Supersite this Saturday. DVC defeated Neumann-Goretti 34-6 in Week Zero while this is the first game of the season for Haverford School.

FIRST-TIMER

Marcus Fulton will be coaching in his first game as a Head Coach for High School of the Future when they take on Boys' Latin Charter.
