PA H.S. Football A Rankings- Week 4

Penn Preps releases its state high school football rankings after Week Four.  Our rankings come out on the following Wednesday once all games are completed.  Penn Preps rankings are solely based on the research, games watched and knowledge of the Scout Penn Preps staff.  Penn Preps does not consider any other rankings and is not a part of any newspaper or other Pennsylvania media association.

  1. Bishop Guilfoyle – defeated Forest Hills 45-0, same ranking
  2. Clairton- defeated Monessen 66-11, same ranking
  3. Jeanette – defeated Imani Christian 37-0, same ranking
  4. Rochester – defeated Cornell 49-0, same ranking
  5. Conemaugh Township (5-0) defeated Windber 35-0 , previously No. 6
  6. Elk County (5-0) – defeated Bradford 27-7, previously No. 7
  7. Tri-Valley (4-1) – defeated Minersville 17-7, previously No. 8
  8. Conchranton (5-0) – defeated Youngsville 56-21, previously No. 9
  9. Northgate (4-0) – defeated Sto-Rox (previously No. 7), previously unranked
  10. Homer Center (5-0) – defeated Penns Manor 21-14, previously unranked.

Quick take: It's been hit or miss with teams 7-10 with two new teams in the mix this week.  No. 4 Rochester will take on No. 9 Northgate this week in a match-up between undefeated teams. No. 6. Elk County will take on our No. 10 Class AA team Kane (5-0) in another match-up between undefeated teams. No. 5 Coneamaugh Township will take on our Class AA No. 4 team Berlin Brothersvalley (5-0).
