Penn Preps releases its state high school football rankings after Week Six. Our rankings come out on the following Wednesday once all games are completed. Penn Preps rankings are solely based on the research, games watched and knowledge of the Scout Penn Preps staff. Penn Preps does not consider any other rankings and is not a part of any newspaper or other Pennsylvania media association.

  1. Bishop Guilfoyle (7-0) - defeated Bishop Carroll 52-0, no change in ranking
  2. Clairton (6-0) - defeated Aliquippa 52-16, no change in ranking
  3. Jeanette (7-0) - defeated Springdale 48-0 , no change in ranking
  4. Rochester (6-0) - defeated Sacred Heart 28-12 , no change in ranking
  5. Conemaugh Townshp (6-0) defeated Conemaugh Valley 30-0 , no change in ranking
  6. Tri-Valley (6-1) - defeated Pine Grove 42-6 , no change in ranking
  7. Portage (6-1) - defeated Windber 38-7 , no change in ranking
  8. Northgate (5-1) - defeated Monessen 34-6, previously No. 9
  9. Fort Cherry (6-0) - defeated Avella 55-7, previously No. 10
  10. Ridgway/Johnsonburg (6-1) - defeated Curwensville 28-0, currently unranked

Dropped Team: Homer-Center (6-1, lost to Ligonier Valley 50-0)

New Team: Ridgway/Johnsonburg

Quick take: Homer-Center was the only team to lose this past weekend. We'll slip in Ridgway/Johnsonburg in for now. They have a big game coming up this week against Kane. Williams Valley is a team to watch in the next couple of weeks.
