Scout 300 wide receiver Shaquon Anderson-Butts was one of many Penn State targets participating in this past weekend's Nike Football Regional Camp at the New York Jets practice facility in New Jersey. Anderson-Butts has continued to receive offers from Power 5 conferences with his latest being from Florida Gators. "I've been talking to wide receivers coach Kenny Dixon," Anderson-Butts said. "Coach (Ja'Juan) Seider and I, who came from West Virginia, have also been talking. I talk to both of them (Seider and Dixon) a lot."
Anderson-Butts said he doesn’t have any visits lined up yet for the month of May. However, he says he could possibly take one to Maryland. The four-star wide receiver says he will be visiting Penn State for their Lasch Bash in July.
Penn State is among Anderson-Butts’ top five schools. “Penn State, Florida, West Virginia, Baylor and Louisville all stand out to me right now,” he said.
Anderson-Butts has set a timetable for his decision. “I’ll be making my decision before the start of the season. Most likely it’ll be sometime in August before our first game in September.”
