After rushing for 2,016 yards and 34 touchdowns during his sophomore year in 2016, there was no doubt that Williamsport High School (PA) running back Treyson Potts would catch the attention of college coaches. The first school to offer Potts was Syracuse. Earlier this week, Virginia became the second FBS school to offer Potts:
Scout Penn Preps had a chance to talk with Potts this past weekend during the Nike Football Regional Camp in New Jersey.
Potts on who has come to visit him at his school:
"Syracuse, Rutgers, West Virginia and Pitt have all come in to visit me. Wake Forest has come in as well and they gave me an invitation to camp at their school."
Potts on his upcoming visit plans:
"I plan on taking an unofficial visit to Rutgers this weekend (May 2). I'm thinking of going to Pitt as well."
Potts on what Penn State thinks about him:
"Penn State likes my vision, speed and movement on the field. The coaches there think I can really fit into their offense."
Potts' thoughts on Syracuse:
"My visit to Syracuse was really nice. They showed me a lot of love. They have me high on their recruiting board."
Below is a video of Potts going through a drill at the Nike Football Camp in New Jersey (Apr. 30).
