Each week Carson Smith goes out and introduces himself to opposing offenses on a regular basis. Averaging about 15 tackles per game Smith is well respected amongst his peers and opponents. Having lined up at his normal middle linebacker spot most of his career Smith has also seen some time at tight end, special teams, fullback, and most recently...running back. His outstanding play and production has opened the eyes of a few more schools recently who have inquired about him.
Stanford and Texas A&M are the newest schools that have started to recruit Smith. Both schools have asked for film and pulled his transcripts recently.
His off the charts GPA of 4.4 and strong play on the field obviously makes him a good target for the Cardinals while the A&M staff says they love his style of play and that he's a good fit for their program.
