Players from South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia are slated to attend the Badger Sport South Showcase Combine at Bamberg-Ehrhardt High School on Saturday April 23rd. Some of the top prospects from the region will be in attendance to participate and compete in the day's events. Guys like Martin Aiken (pictured) will be there to showcase their talents against other top prospects!

The Badger Sport South Showcase Combine rolls into Bamberg-Ehrhardt High School this Saturday April 23rd. Some of the top prospects from South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia are already penciled in for the event. The event will consist of combine testing as well as position drills, one on ones, and seven on seven action.

If you are interested in participating in the event it is EXTREMELY important that you pre-register via email or fax (386)304-9860. You can email Andrew Bone (Scout.com South region assistant recruiting manager) at abone@scout.com or Kerry Fair (SCPrepNation.com publisher/recruiting analyst) at SCPrepNation@aol.com. Cost is $45 and is on a CASH ONLY basis at the registration tables.

The host school, Bamberg Ehrhardt, will feature a ton of talent in 2012 DE Martin Aiken, 2012 DT David Deleon, 2012 RB Demetrius Williams, 2014 TE/LB Kevin Crosby, and other teammates will all be in attendance. Each of the Bamberg contingent mentioned already holds multiple offers.

One of the state's hottest prospects S Ronald Geohaghan of Allendale-Fairfax will be there to showcase his talents. Geohaghan has accumulated over a dozen offers already and his stock continues to rise each and every week it seems.

Another player we'll be anxious to see is talented 2012 CB prospect Devontre Parnell from Fairfield Central High. He's already grabbed four early offers (Kentucky, Illinois, Louisville, and Vanderbilt) and has been a force on the camp/combine circuit so far this off season.

Goose Creek High School will be well represented with 2012 prospects LB T.J. Burrell and FB Virgil Smalls. Burrell holds multiple offers from the likes of Clemson, Duke, South Carolina, and Vanderbilt. Their 2013 classmates WR Tramel Terry and LB Gerald Turner are also on the early roster. Terry and Turner already hold early offers as well. One of Goose Creek's brightest stars of the future is 2014 RB Caleb Kinlaw who has been testing like a seasoned pro so far this off season.

2012 South Carolina verbal commit RB Kendric Salley of Williston-Elko High is set to compete and other prospects are wanting to see why we're so high on Salley as are the Gamecocks obviously. A fierce competitor who has done well at previous combine stops, Salley should be a player to watch most of the day.

2012 Daniel High DE Shaq Lawson is already verbally committed to the Clemson Tigers and he'll be there to solidify his spot amongst the region's top defensive ends. Look for Lawson to display his immense talent against a strong group of offensive linemen during one on ones.

Hanahan 2012 WR Chris Brown already took home top wide receiver honors at an Under Armour combine in Miami Florida earlier this year. He's scheduled to take on all comers as he's one of the state's best prospects in 2012 with six offers already (Arkansas, Cincinnati, ECU, Illinois, Kentucky, and Wake Forest) and more on the horizon.

Making the trip down from Union County High School are 2013 prospects QB Keiston Smith, WR Victor Ruth, and WR Kaylay Jones as well as 2012 teammate DE JaShawn Thompson. All four prospects have wowed us with their highlight videos and we're projecting offers in the future for them all.

Another intriguing prospect who'll be in attendance is Wilson Hall QB Gibson Klapthor who tore it up a Nike combine in Charlotte earlier this season testing as the top South Carolina prospect in attendance. The 6'3 215 pound Klapthor is a competitor and is looking once again to turn heads and open more eyes about his talent come Saturday.

Prospects from all over the Low Country and Midlands of South Carolina are set to give it their all on Saturday at Bamberg-Ehrhardt High School.

Early out of state registrants of note are 2012 OL Jacob Ingle (NC, offer), 2012 S Michael Summers (GA, 2 offers), 2012 LB Reggie Owens (GA), 2012 LB Marquel Gathers (NC), and 2013 OL Mike Sutton (NC).

Once again be sure and email abone@scout.com for registration information or SCPrepNation@aol.com.
