Could his first offer be on the horizon soon from the ACC or SEC?

Eddie Gordon Profile

Business has picked up as of late for 2012 Boiling Springs OG Eddie Gordon. A few new schools have started to recruit Gordon and he talked about it with Scout.com. Two school also may be on the verge of an offer.

"I'm being recruited by East Carolina now. They invited me to their Spring Game but I wasn't able to attend. North Carolina State was at my school this past week and they say they are about to offer me this week," Gordon said.

The Wolfpack may not be the only school to extend an offer to Gordon soon apparently either.

"I attended South Carolina's Spring Game. It went very weel. I've been in touch with Coach Elliot and he says he wants me around 290 pounds to get an offer."

With the bar set regarding his weight Gordon says he'll be working on making that goal happen as soon as possible in order to land that offer and possibly others. Plenty of other schools are all still in the mix currently he says.

"Duke, South Carolina, Georgia Tech, and North Carolina State said they will all be at my spring practice."

Stay tuned to Scout.com as we'll continue to bring you the latest regarding the state's top prospects like Eddie Gordon. We'll also have Gordon's junior season film soon so keep it locked right here.
