Some spring practices have started across the state and college coaches are making visits to check in on some of the state's top prospects. One of the most visited programs in the Palmetto State is Columbia High School. One of their top prospects is 2012 DE Devonte Graham. We caught up with Graham as a couple of new schools have entered the picture lately for the 6'5 247 pound prospect.
"I like Tennessee. It's a big school and they are definitely on the way back up."
As mentioned previously college coaches have been on the road to see some of the top prospects. Graham says a couple of those college coaches had good things to say about him to his high school coaches.
"NC State liked my size so did Clemson. They both said that I look like a true defensive end."
As of right now Graham says he's hoping to camp with some of the schools that are recruiting him currently.
Recently the Columbia standout took part in one of the Shrine Bowl combines at Spartanburg High School. He talked about how he felt about his performance there.
"I am very happy with how I did. The drills were pretty easy. I had a good broad jump and my 40 could have been better but it's all good."
