The visitors have been steady at Wando High School as of late. Wando hosts a number of D1 prospects but the headliner is 2012 defensive end Gimel President. The 4-star prospect sat down with SCPrepNation.com and gave us the inside scoop as to what's the very latest regarding his recruitment.
"In the past two weeks Coach Chris Rumph from Alabama came by my school and said that they are very much interested in me. He is just waiting on Coach Nick Saban to give him the word on offering me. Also Oklahoma, Tennessee, East Carolina, North Carolina State, North Carolina has come by as well," President said.
College coaches haven't been the only visitors to swing by Wando High School either as of late.
"On Thursday a representative from the U.S. Army All-American Bowl came by to tell me that I was nominated to participate for 2012 bowl game. It is a great honor to received this award and to have a chance to play in the game."
The humble 2012 prospect gave special thanks in regards to being nominated for the game.
"This is a team accomplishment and I would like to thank my teammates and coaches."
"Last Friday coach Ron West from Illinois came by and verbally offered me as well."
This past Tuesday night President received an offer from last year's national champions, Auburn University.
