Cordarrelle Patterson Profile
Believe me, Hutchison Kansas is a long way away from South Carolina. Yet two former South Carolina high school standouts are now playing JUCO ball at Hutchison Community College. Former Marlboro County High QB Elliott Alford and former Northwestern High WR Cordarrelle Patterson were stars that we both profiled during the prep careers. Both prospects now suit up for Hutchison as a dynamic duo for the program. Their talents have caught the eye of many college coaches who've visited Hutchison and one coach saw enough to extend an invitation to visit his program.
Alford gave SCPrepNation.com a call about the visit that he's anxiously looking forward to.
"I'm going to visit Auburn next Friday with my teammate Cordarrelle Patterson." Alford said.
"Well they came out to our practice a few weeks back and coach Malzahn was here and he watched me all practice. After practice he told my coaches that he was going to have to keep an eye on me because I throw the ball well! So he told my coaches that he wants me and Cordarelle to visit Auburn next Friday."
Alford says he has a good feeling about the visit after talking to his coaches.
"My coach thinks they are going to offer,"
So we asked Alford if the Tigers were to extend an offer to him would he jump on it immediately or hold out to see what other offers come his way?
"I think I would probably commit on the spot if they offered me."
Stay tuned to SCPrepNation.com as we'll be in contact with Alford during his visit to Auburn next week with Cordarrelle Patterson.
