"North Carolina just offered me," Brown told SCPrepNation.com.
"Coach Williams offered me."
The offer from the Tar Heels gives Brown 13 offers. We asked Brown what he likes most about North Carolina.
"I like their offense. They've always been one of my favorite teams. It's just an overall good academic and athletic program.
The Tar Heels join previous offers from Arkansas, Cincinnati, East Carolina, Illinois, Kentucky, Marshall, Maryland, Morgan State, Notre Dame, South Florida, Virginia Tech, and Wake Forest. So which school could potentially be the next to offer Brown?
"I think Tennessee may be next."
In a previous interview Brown thought Michigan may be close to offering as well. It may not be too long before he's on the road to see the Wolverines and other programs he says.
"My coaches are from the Michigan area so we are talking about going with them and hitting like Kentucky, Tennessee, Cincinnati, Notre Dame, and Michigan on the way. My dad and I are going to see North Carolina and Virginia Tech."
Brown says he is still wide open to anyone who wants to recruit him currently.
Brown recently broke the South Carolina state record for the triple jump with a leap of 51 feet 2 1/2 inches. The mark is the top for juniors nationally. Brown also won a state championship in the long jump with a mark of 23 feet 9 inches. The 2012 prospect also set a personal record in the 200 meters with a time of 21.9 seconds placing second at the state championships where he edged out fellow in state WR Cordrea Tankersley (4-stars) who placed 4th in the event.
