LB Ivan Cann Lands 1st Offer, More To Come?

One of the state's fastest rising prospects in the 2012 class is OLB Ivan Cann of Bamberg-Ehrhardt High School. It's hard to miss 2012 OLB Ivan Cann on the football field. At 6'3 205 pounds Cann has the size and skills that have brought many college coaches back to Bamberg-Ehrhardt High to have a second look at him. One in-state program became the first school to extend him an offer and more offers could be on the horizon in the near future.

SCPrepNation.com sat down with Bamberg assistant coach Corey Crosby to get the very latest regarding one of their blossoming 2012 prospects.

"Ivan Cann just got his first offer the other day from South Carolina State. I really think he's about to take off. He's going to camp with Vanderbilt on Saturday and The Citadel on Sunday," Crosby told us.

"We're hoping that he comes home with offers from those schools."

Another school that has been really high on the talented outside linebacker is Clemson. Crosby talked about what the Tigers have said and have lined up for him.

"He's going to Clemson on June 8th to camp. Coach Marion Hobby really likes him and wants to see him there."
