Finishing up his junior year Gimel is now officially a senior. Covering the 2012 prospect for over a year after first introducing the world to him it's been fun to see him grow and mature not only in terms of recruiting but as a young man as well.
The 2012 prospect's father says he's gone days without telling he or his mother about his latest offers and just dropped the news like it was a regular statement over dinner. That's just Gimel's nature though, he's a great kid who's a bit shy and plain and simple, doesn't talk much.
President says there's "not a lot planned for the next few weeks" after finishing up his junior year.
"I think the next trip is to Tennessee at the end of this month."
That's when the 6'4 242 pound prospect told us some interesting news.
"I want to go ahead and narrow it down to 5 schools by the end of summer. I'll go from there and see those schools."
President's initial plan was to narrow his list down to 5 or 6 schools after spring practice concluded but with an offer from Notre Dame this week and others still in the mix those plans have changed.
Schools not already heavily involved may want to move quickly because the full court press may be implied by many of the program already in the mix from here on out until he names his final list.
